Anatomical liver resection was done at Bangladesh Shishu Hospital and Institute by a team of pediatric surgeons led by Dr. Md. Samiul Hasan. The one-year-old boy was suffering from hepatoblastoma (childhood liver cancer) in the right lobe of his liver. After neoadjuvant chemotherapy, the tumor size was reduced, but the surgery was very challenging because of its position in the center of the liver. Dr. Md. Samiul Hasan congratulated his team on the successful operation and uneventful discharge of the baby.
