Dr. Samiul Hasan

Dr. Samiul Hasan is a young and dynamic pediatric surgeon and pediatric urologist in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has been trained in premier institutes, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Dhaka, and Bangladesh Shishu Hospital and Institute, Dhaka. He has also accomplished his European Board Fellowship training in Pediatric Surgery at Mainz University Hospital, Germany. He has been a meritorious student throughout his medical career. He has special expertise and vast experience in pediatric surgery, pediatric urology, neonatal surgery, pediatric colorectal surgery, pediatric hepatobiliary surgery, pediatric tumor surgery, and pediatric minimally invasive surgery. He has performed reconstructive surgeries for congenital anomalies with great skills and excellent results. He has successfully treated many previously failed cases of urological anomalies like hypospadias, bladder exstrophy, etc. Over the years, he has devised innovative techniques in several surgical procedures, which have won him accolades. He has presented his innovations in various conferences and workshops, for which he has received critical acclaim. He has publications in pediatric surgery and pediatric urology in various national and international journals.

Presently he works as an Associate Professor in the department of pediatric surgery at Bangladesh Shishu Hospital and Institute, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The department of pediatric surgery at Bangladesh Shishu Hospital and Institute performs all pediatric reconstructive surgeries for complex congenital anomalies and pediatric laparoscopies.
